What our students say...

Learning NLP has truly opened my eyes to elite performance and developed my coaching ability in a number of unexpected ways, I really wish I had learned this stuff years ago.

Alex Armstrong
Conditioning Coach Cardiff City Football Club

The course exceeded all my expectations. It was informative, well structured and most of all very enjoyable. Mick’s presentation style was perfect for his audience; he obviously has a sound appreciation of the different styles of learning. The training had a good mixture of knowledge and understanding and ‘hands on’ practitioner practice, and the time just flew by. I have been involved in training for 12 years and can highly recommend NLP training with Mick, as it has so many uses for professional development.

Manager Tazer UK

Working with, and learning NLP is an amazing, life changing experience in its own right. Having the opportunity to learn this subject with Mick Stott is taking the experience to another level yet again! I have worked within the learning and development arena for the past eight years, and I have been exposed to a number of excellent products and facilitators; working with Mick in particular has been, by far, the best experience I have had. His programmes are immaculately designed to stimulate, educate and enthuse the most challenging of participants. Our programme was full of insight, laughter and inspirational storytelling which completely blew me away and cemented my learning. If you get the chance to work with Mick, bite his arm off – it’s amazing – he is definitely someone who has found his vocation in life!

I first met Mick in June 2007 working at the Royal Marines barracks, utilising NLP in a therapeutic setting, working with members of the Armed Forces diagnosed with PTSD.
Having gone through this intense 4 day programme with them, I came away knowing that the theories and concepts I had seen could be utilised to assist myself and my colleagues in putting together a worthwhile and meaningful Leadership Academy.

The presenting with NLP course, exceeded my expectations. It’s a given ( for me ) that Mick would be enthused and highly professional as I have seen him operate before. What I have learnt is :
  • To have belief and confidence in my own abilities as a trainer.
  • To know that there is no absolute right and wrong in the training room, but to have a whole raft of options available to provide explanation of why things went the way they did in the training room.
  • The power of saving my own energy as a trainer and the positive effect that has on the class.
  • The regeneration capability I now have, having learnt how to relax properly. Having already learnt this once, I can say that it is very easy to slip back into old patterns and there is a definite need to ensure time is put to one side at regular intervals to invest in relaxation of self!
  • I have had the good fortune to train a group of 20 students subsequent to this programme. Results ? Wow. A buzz in the classroom that started within 15 minutes of opening and lasted until the end of the course. Final exam results that were off the scale. Pass mark of 75% , previous courses usually btwn 1 & 3 failures with the majority of passes in the late 70s or 80s. This course lowest score 88% and 5 x 100% passmarks. Unheard of.
  • I felt energised at the end of the training, whereas normally after a 1:20 ratio training event I am exhausted.

Ruth Colquhoun
Trainer Kent Police

It would be very translucent of me to sing the praises of NLP and the course presented by Mick, there are many testimonial pages out there so I am going to be selfish and quote what I found on the course. The tools of NLP in my line of work in sports performance are undeniable. NLP has given me the means to look at myself and my behaviour towards others rather than the automatic assumption of their behaviour. The ability to understand and structure peoples learning rather than guess how people learn is a massive tool in teaching performance sports. The irrefutable benefit Mick has give me is how to analysis MY behaviour and performance. I fully intent to continue my NLP learning under the guidance of Mick who understands sports performance athletes their and my learning needs.

Royston Scott MBE
Trauma Risk Incident Management Team Royal Marines

Mick, when the real problems arrived we only needed to remember one thing "Focus On What You Want"

Many thanks mate.
